Reef Chair - wool
 Reef chairs evoke both maritime and stringed instument forms. It is has been very popular for dining and in professional meeting rooms where both tall and short people remain comfortable for extended periods. The designer's attention to ergonomic detail has got the curve and position of the seat and back just right. Please select from the range of wood and fabric. The edge detail for the chairs remains the light colour of the Hoop Pine ply and is a design element that is in clear harmony with the clean lines created by designer Dr Peter Costello. It also signals via the eye, the lighteness and strenght of this chair. The use of black paint on the legs is an exception rather than the rule but creates a stunning effect against the the strong red ( a plain wool crepe in this case). The typical clear finish is illustrated on the page that features the Reef Chair with leather upholstery.
